I have four borlotti bean plants growing up a wigwam. They look healthy, but there are so many leaves that the flowers and small bean pods are smothered by the leaves. I've never grown this kind of beans before. Is this amount of leaves normal for borlotti beans? There a reasonable amount of beanpods forming on two of the plants, but not the other two. Should I de-leaf the plants a bit to give a chance for the flowers to be pollinated or would this be too much of a shock for the plant?! Thanks
Leave the poor plant alone. If it wants lots of leaves, it needs lots of leaves!
