I have an empty space in the veg plot and someone has suggested planting spring cabbage. However, seedlings bought from the market are very expensive. If I can find some seed, is it too late to grow my own plants?
No TriciaB2 you should be OK to sow then outside during September. If you still have some space left how about sowing Kohl Rabi, Endive, or Winter Lettuce?
Hi Tricia, you will be o/k to put some spring cabbage seed in as it is not to late i put a row in myself last saturday. Good Luck.
