onion storage

  hi just took onions out and just wondering will there dry out in my shed if i hang them up but only thing is there is not much light.

  The bit that follows is the RHS' advice on the subject. However, as the weather is not sunny at the moment, I suspect the shed will have to do. Perhaps free flow of air would help them dry out satisfactorily when there is no sun to be enjoyed.
  
  "Those (onions) for storage must be firm, disease-free and then dried for two to three weeks, either laid out in the sun or in a shed if the weather is wet."
