Help - it is now September and not a single one of my tomatoes has turned red - I have loads on the plants (outside in pots) but unlike last year the haven't changed colour.
They look lovely - large and firm - and I am worried that if I cut them all off they will just go soft rather than red? Any help?
Hi lighty, where do you live? I live in the South East and I will leave my till next month as I always do every year, Last week I knocked down two green tomato by accident and I add them to my vegetables which I was cooking and it tast fine.
Today it is sunnier and the temperature will get higher and it will help the tomato to ripen. Have a bit of patience and will be fine

try putting ripe bananas under the plants, they give off a gas that ripens the toms.plus try a bit of striping.
I had this and removed all leaves and greenery just leaving the toms on the stalks and they have been turning red over the last few days.
