Hi, my first year growing marrows.

Got a huge marrow during the summer and thought that was it but now there are 3 new marrows growing.

    1. Will they all have time to grow before it gets too cold (or should i take one off) ?

    2. Should i take off the leaves to expose them to more sun ?

They get some decent sunshine for 1/2 day.

    Thanks for any help.

It's getting close to when you should be removing the beast. If you remove the leaves it will reduce the sunshine collcting capacity, can you just move them aside so the skin is opened to the sun?

When you do remove it, try and keep as much vine connected to the marrow as possible then if disease cets into the stem, it may not reach the marrow. If there is a slightly yellower section (where it has layd on the ground, expose this are to the sun to dry and harden it, this will help in storing. Cheers, Tony.

The word was 'gets' not 'cets' and 'laid' not 'layd', and here is the' )' to close it off. Must try harder.

Could we have an edit button please ? ? ? Cheers, Tony.
