Back in Early August, following early retirement, I decided to start growing my own veg again, after a near 30yr break. Because of the time of year, and the fact my garden wasn't ready for growing veg, I decided to sow a few varieties in troughs and put them in the Greenhouse. I feel the Spring Onion (Ishikura) & the Beetroot (Boltardy) are now ready to harvest. As they are the Greenhouse, and I am planning to line the interior shortly with Bubblewrap, will it be ok to leave them where they are, and pull them up as I use them, or take them up soon & store them. Thanks
Absolutely no reason to say this, but I think they will be O.K. untill needed. I wish I had done that. Once the tom's are out, I tend to have a mental block about this usefull bit of ground. . . Cheers, Tony
Thanks for your reply Tony, Greenhouses sure can be useful, can't they? Let's hope there are other people out there who have actually done what I hope to do.
