I've just had some bare root raspberries come through the post and was wondering if it ok to leave them until the weather gets better.
I have an allotment which is very wet at the moment and have not had time to dig a trenchfor them.....thanks

You do need to get them in the ground asap. if you have not got the proper place ready for them, just dig a hole, drop them in, and cover with soil and water in. if you don't, the roots will dry out and then they may not grow. You can move them again safely any time before March and then they will settle in nicely.
