Cheap seeds

    Wilkinsons (Wilko) currently have a '3 for 2' offer on both their own-label seeds and Johnson's Seeds, the cheapest packet being free.

    It's worth mentioning that their computer system isn't that sophisticated, so if you are buying four (or more) packets, make sure that you give them to the cashier to ring up in strict order of cost - that way the third most expensive packet is free, when it may not be the cheapest of the four packets.

    Thanks fot the hint, this will save save lots of time at the checkout!! All their gardening range is now coming back in-lots of good deals .

    The only thing that bothers me about seed buying in large stores is that you do not know how they are stored. Having said that I have had some success with seeds bought from Wilko's. I always find that ones given free with magazines do best of all for some reason.
