  went to aldi today, there selling large hanging basket 3 strawberry plants and compost 3.99 wot a bargain

  That`s a bargain! And when the plants produce runners, you`ll get even more little plantlets - for free. Even more of a bargain.

  Aldi and Lidl get in garden stuff alittle later in the year which is usually really good value - selling alsorts of things from seeds, plants to tool and equipment.

  Aldi and Lidl get in garden stuff alittle later in the year which is usually really good value - selling alsorts of things from seeds, plants to tool and equipment.   I'm an expat now living in Piedmont, Northern Italy. Never shopped in Lidi when I lived in the UK but theres one near to me, so went in for a look. I now buy all of my wine from there - funny how Italian wine is much chearper there then in the Italian supermarkets. They do offers from different countries each month, and when it the Taste of England - I buy Cheddar cheese - its the only time I can but it - reallty wish they would do Fish & Chips

  We bought 4 fruit trees from Aldi yesterday, bramley, braeburn, conference pear and morello cherry for £2.99 each and also 2 packs containing a raspberry, blackcurrant and redcurrant bush for £1.49 each.If they don't fruit I don't feel like we have wasted much!!
