    good day to each,i have a Sage plant which is nearly 3 years old ,can i transplant it from its pot and add feed to it as the its getting a bit overgrown with grasses etc,any info would be gratefully recieved. kind regards Chris

    Could be an ideal time to take cuttings. Have a shufti at taking hard and softwood cuttings. Then dispose of the old plant and start again with a shiney new youngster and give rooted cuttings away to others. Cheers, Tony.

    Take cuttings, yes, but no ned to get rid of the original plant - only three years old. Transplant it (end of next month) and give it a good prune at the same time, you'll get new growth and hopefully the flowers for the bees in simmer too.
