    Hi everybody.

I have jsut started to grow my own veg but need a greenhouse. Would you recommend the Norfolk Greenhouse? I have been looking around for one for a while now, some seem just too expensive and I think one of these will do me for value for money.

If you have one would you recomend them? And you havent got one would you recommend another value-for-money greenhouse?

    Thanks

i got one many years ago , but it was a roll of polythene that came with it and it was rubbish.
it did for a few years then i replaced it 3 years ago with a new one from the same company , and it is a lot better.
They are now sold with solid panel ,s and are much sturdier.
    Buy the biggest u can afford . A 12 x 6 for under £300 is great value.
I live in N.E. scotland , and my one has been fine through the past 2 hard winters .

It is a case of you get what you pay for.
I had a cheap and cheerful one and it did the job although often colder inside than it was outside in the winter so had to have heating.
The one I have now a much more expensive Robinson but bought at a show so a third less on the price. It has been up 25 years and never a thing wrong. It is a leanto on a south facing garage wall and I find the frost guard fan heater never comes on as the brick walls give back heat retained during the day.
The last poster is right get the biggest you can afford, in winter hang curtains of bubble wrap over a small section and you will find not much is needed in heat, your plants will come on nicely.
    Frank.

We built ours against a S.facing wall. We used second hand window frames and got a man to build the blockwork around them and used clear corrugated sheets for the roof. We also managed to get an old double glazed door. It has been rendered and looks fab. It measures 12 x 8 ft x 6ft high and we love it. So do my neighbours, so much so, they copied us!! Didn't cost much either.
