Is it a misprint or does GW mag sell in Australia!

I've had some excellent plants and bulbs from the freebie's they offer and although I liked their offer of 21 perennials in Novembers mag, had to smile at the quote 'fill your borders with colour this summer', here I was thinking we are in the throws of Autumn waiting for the snowsmiley - biggrin

The offer wasn't very clear presumably you order now and the plants don't come till next spring.

I'm tempted but don't think I could keep 21 young perenials alive till next spring if they arrive in the next few months.

I would agree that it is difficult to keep young perennials over winter. My local GC were selling small perennials for £1 last autumn and I bought a few but lost them.

If you read carefully(on their website) it says they will dispatch by the end of November 2011.It also says they are bare roots so you would need to act quickly with pots and soil. I have to say I do not do well with bare root perennials.

I would assume that like everyone T&M have to keep selling.

I'm up for a challenge and if they come bare root presumably they are a reasonable size. I'll check out their website, if nothing else this could be a learning curve and at £4.50 p & p I've not alot to lose.
