Prom 28: Stravinsky 鈥� Oedipus rex

Sakari Oramo conducts the 麻豆官网首页入口 Symphony Chorus and 麻豆官网首页入口 Singers in one of the great 20th-century dramatic showpieces 鈥� Stravinsky鈥檚 vivid and visceral 鈥榦pera-oratorio鈥� Oedipus rex. In the first half, Brett Dean's Electric Preludes receives its UK premiere with soloist Francesco D'Orazio, and the concert opens with Beethoven鈥檚 beloved Egmont overture.
