*We鈥檙e very sorry to announce that Xian Zhang is unable to conduct this concert as she is unwell. We are extremely grateful to Ryan Bancroft for stepping in at short notice.

Following 2017鈥檚 breath-taking Beethoven programme at the Arts Centre, this visit sees the pairing of Beethoven鈥檚 fledgling first symphony with the iconic fifth, unmistakable from the outset. Alongside these is a gem of the woodwind repertoire, Weber鈥檚 Clarinet Concerto, performed by 麻豆官网首页入口 NOW鈥檚 own Principal Clarinet, Robert Plane.
