Looking ahead to Women鈥檚 Day on the 8th of March, this concert of music by Welsh women composers will showcase some of our finest orchestral music in recent years, from the heroine鈥檚 anguish in Rhian Samuel鈥檚 Clytemnestra for soprano and orchestra and based on the Greek Tragedy Agamemnon, to Hilary Tann鈥檚 鈥榙eepest respect鈥� to the victims of Tiananmen Square in The Open Field. Also included in the concert are premieres of three new pieces by the most gifted of the younger generation.
