Live in Concert with Christoph König

Josef Suk may have started out following in the footsteps of his father-in-law Dvořák, but the symphony Suk wrote in his memory could not be more different to Dvořák’s style. It’s a beautiful and moving tribute to his family, named after the Old Testament angel of death Asrael.

It’s paired with the technically-demanding, majestic and yet beautiful Violin Concerto by Brahms – performed by Esther Yoo, one of Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Radio 3’s New Generation Artists.
