Sweet Love For Planet Park

The fields of Pilton have never been treated to a sonic assault quite like F**** Buttons. Those hills will resound with an almighty squelch and throb like no other, as the Bristol based pair of Andrew Hung and Benjamin John Power loop their way through an unconventional family of instruments and samples to forge an unyielding rhythm up by the Park.

Hung and Power first came together in 2004 to work on a soundtrack for a film made by Hung. Their unique sound and early live shows soon caught the attention of ATP, who signed the duo to their record label and have continually included FB on their eclectic festival bills.

Albums Street Horrrsing and Tarot Sport have won favour which a series of illustrious music writers and fellow musicians, including Caribou, Pixies and Andrew Weatherall, who remixed Buttons' infectious thumper Sweet Love For Planet Earth before picking up production duties on Tarot Sport.

After a quiet couple of years, the pair resurfaced in 2012 as one of the most refreshing inclusions in the Olympic Opening Ceremony soundtrack and release new album Slow Focus in July. They'll bring their hypnotic cacophony to Sunday's Park Stage to provide the perfect contrast to classic rock on the Stones managed Pyramid.
