Last year, Mario Galeano from Bogota band Frente Cumbiero and Will Holland, the man behind tropical funk outfit Quantic, combined for a celebration of Colombian music, bringing together 42 legendary musicians both young and old for an immense musical party. Multiple styles from samba and hip hop to the more traditional gaita and cumbia mashed together to create their acclaimed self-titled album.
Now on the road, the collective have played wild gigs from Bogota squats to the Hackney Empire. Creating a new branch of South American musical history with their spontaneous, unrefined party sounds, better start dancing to the new sounds of this super group.
