The New Music Biennial showcases composers and music creators who are pushing the boundaries of new music in the UK.
The festival is presented in association with the PRS for Music Foundation and features music across all genres, from classical and chamber opera to jazz, folk and electronic.
One of the UK’s leading composers and current Professor of Composition at the Royal College of Music, Simon Holt, has written a basset clarinet concerto for 2006 Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Young Musician of the Year Mark Simpson.
Come along and hear his piece Joy Beast, inspired by a black and white print by English artist, Cecil Collins, of a rampant bull-like creature with fearsome horns.
