About this event
Please note this event is now fully booked.
The Proms festival isn’t just about listening to great music – it’s about bringing people together to make music, too. If you’ve ever wished you could get involved in playing or singing in a group, whatever your age, instrument or experience, now’s your chance!
The Proms Family Orchestra & Chorus is open to families of all shapes and sizes (ages 7-plus); whether you’re a complete novice or an aspiring virtuoso, it’s a great way to enjoy playing music together as a family. Each workshop is led by our team of professional musicians who help you to explore the music in a fresh and exciting way.
Join Alison Walker and a team of professional musicians to create music inspired by Beethoven, Bruch and Walton that you’ll hear in this afternoon‘s Prom.
Proms Family Orchestra & Chorus workshops take place before Proms which have been selected with families in mind, so once you’ve finished making music yourselves, you can pop over to the Royal Albert Hall, sit back and relax, and enjoy the concert.
