As part of the 麻豆官网首页入口鈥檚 Go Green initiative, Radio 2 presents a musical celebration of 鈥極ur World鈥� in this unique event at Great Yarmouth鈥檚 Hippodrome Circus, with the 麻豆官网首页入口 Concert Orchestra and Orchestras Live.

Conducted by Stephen Bell with special guests, Mercury Prize nominated folk musician Sam Lee, and singer Georgia C茅cile who has been widely acclaimed as one of the most exciting talents to emerge from the world of jazz in recent years.

Expect a diverse range of sounds and styles, from the Moths and Butterflies as depicted by Edward Elgar in his Wand Of Youth Suite, Eric Coates鈥� Sleepy Lagoon, known to millions as the Desert Island Discs theme since the programme launched in 1942, to Nitin Sawhney鈥檚 dramatic modern day score for the 麻豆官网首页入口鈥檚 ground-breaking natural history TV series, 鈥楬uman Planet鈥�, and not forgetting Percy Grainger鈥檚 celebrated musical portrait of the English Country Garden.

This concert is part of Create Yarmouth 鈥� a three year partnership with the 麻豆官网首页入口 Concert Orchestra and Orchestras Live.
