Despite the failure of "Fight Club" to ignite the US box office, it has rapidly engendered the same cult status that it embodies and promotes. So a 2-disc DVD set loaded with a staggering amount of extras is no surprise and will be eagerly snapped up by fans.
Ultimately, please consider this review as a tiny indication of the hours of added features that are available from the DVD set.
Firstly, if you still can't understand why that eager salesman was so keen to sell you a sub woofer, or why you should even own said device, then rest assured that the "Fight Club" DVD is here to help. The THX-approved 5.1 sound mix will rip the guts out of your previously dormant rumble box and pull you and your neighbours through the floor.
And secondly, the picture is pretty nice too.
But if multiple angles turn you on then "Fight Club" can again help you out. Simply load up the second disc and delve into the world of 'behind the scenes' with a load of extras that deconstruct everything from the film's advertising to false breasts, gun shots, sex scenes, blowing up buildings, and so much more. And loads of these features come with multiple angles, commentaries, and audio options.
In short, "Fight Club" on DVD is a button-frenzy of extra features that will test even the sternest of home entertainment fingers.
