Wayne's World DVD (1992)

Party on! "Wayne's World" is released on a truly excellent DVD. To celebrate this review will be very amusing to read... NOT!

Technical Features:

Picture Even in extreme close up we're not worthy of the fresh quality of the picture. It's like totally amazing.

Sound Exsqueeze me? 5.1? Why yes my good man, with swirling guitar riffs around the speakers, and plenty of impressive moments like the totally bogus Alice Cooper concert.

Special Features:

Audio Commentary The Spheeris says "What?". Director Penelope Spheeris says plenty of things for the audio commentary. Apparently she had trouble with the writers trying to direct the movie as well as her, (they thought they were still working for TV... As if).

Making of Documentary This brand new retrospective documentary contains nearly 25 minutes of excellent interviews with all the major cast members. Penelope Spheeris seems to have dressed like a witch for the occasion, and Rob Lowe reveals that Mike Myers didn't have a clue what to do on a film set. How sad is that? There's plenty of debate how the movie came about and on the original TV sketches, but no real footage of the old show to watch.

Animated Menus We're not worthy of these totally excellent animated menus. Laid out like a sad cable guide, there's a selection of totally lame adverts to look at including dog grooming and dodgy legal ads.

Region: 2
