THE BIG RELEASE
Kill Bill: Volume One
Advance word: Quentin Tarantino's first film since 1997's Jackie Brown has been split into two instalments (Volume Two follows next February). Whether this is overkill or a good thing remains to be seen. What we do know is that buzz is strong around the numerous fight scenes and Uma Thurman's performance, as an assassin out for vengeance.
NB: Kill Bill is released nationally on 17th October.

ALSO OUT
Horror fans will want to check out Eli Roth's blood-splattered debut, Cabin Fever, while the kids will flock to Finding Nemo, which opens across the country this week. The other new film is a documentary: American kids compete in a nationwide spelling competition in the appropriately titled Spellbound. Do you know how to spell 'don't miss'?
