Eleanor Yule's debut feature is a powerful drama of jealousy and passion, starring Peter Mullan, Jodhi May, Anders W Berthelsen, Samantha Bond and Phyllida Law.
Blind landowner (Mullan) lives on a remote farm lives with his aging mother (Law) and young wife (May, right).
A Danish labourer, on the run from something in his past, arrives at the farmhouse. Slowly a relationship forms between the newcomer and the younger woman and a contest of wills ensues between the two men.
The film was produced as part of the Scottish Screen New Found Films project, which is also responsible for Afterlife, now on release.
