Series 7: 21. North West Starter

Returning contenders Johnnie Mountain and Aiden Byrne along with newcomer Simon Rogan compete for the chance to cook at a glittering Olympic banquet. They kick things off with their starters - but which chef is going to be first off the blocks?

Johnnie makes foie gras ice cream, cherry ravioli and ib茅rico ham; Aiden black cherry and foie gras terrine with palm sugar mousse; Simon's entry is grilled salad, truffle custard, cheese foam and cobnut crisp.

Great British Menu veteran Marcus Wareing decides who goes through to cook for the judges at the end of the week.
