An easy-to-remember recipe for making overnight oats that you can customise. Overnight oats will keep for 3 days in an airtight container in the fridge.

For the base: mix 1 part rolled oats with 1陆 parts milk. Stir and place into the fridge overnight, this makes a loose consistency overnight oats, if you prefer a firmer breakfast you can do a 1:1 ratio.

For a creamer consistency, do as above and add in 2 tablespoons yoghurt per 1 part of oats. Stir and place in the fridge overnight.

For a thicker consistency, add 1 tablespoon chia seeds per 1 part oats.

In the morning you can top your overnight oats with a variety of toppings, such as chopped banana and a drizzle of almond butter, or berries.
