June Whitfield shared a Pie and a Pint at 麻豆官网首页入口 Hereford and Worcester with Tony Fisher whilst they had a chat about her career. June is one of the few surviving stars of the Carry On films, but she is probably best known for playing the wifely-half of a partnership with Terry Scott in the 麻豆官网首页入口 sitcoms Happy Ever After and Terry and June. More recently she has appeared in the sitcom Absolutely Fabulous and as Miss Marple on 麻豆官网首页入口 Radio 4. June Whitfield received an OBE in 1985 and a CBE in 1998, as well as the British Comedy Awards Lifetime Achievement Award in 1994.
