Visting Hampton Court Flower Show and seeing the anderson shelter in the garden, brought back memories of when as a child I visted my grannys garden. The garden contained a similiar shelter, and was still standing when the house was sold during the late 1990. Grandad built the shelter before the war broke out, and caused much amusement to the neighbours, but when the bombs dropped on Norwich they had more than themselves queing at the door to get in.
