The Second Master at my school had a different uniform for nearly every day of the week.
He had served in the First World War and was very upright and strict.
On Mondays he wore the Army Cadet Corps uniform. Tuesdays and Thursdays it was the Air Force Cadet uniform (he led a platoon of cadets).Wednesday it was his Scout leader uniform
On Fridays he wore his own suit and by the end of the war this was very shabby. He was very interested in what was happening at the front and he used to put up maps in the geography lessons so we could watch the progress of our forces.
