My mother, Eilleen Williamson, came over from Northern Ireland. She went down to London and worked in a munitions factory. She loved it. She would always say that people really cared about each other, really pulled together. So she was never frightened. My Dad was working in the munitions factory too, that is how they met. After the war they moved to Shropshire.
