鈥淚 remember being in the Jenny Lind Hospital with a broken arm aged four years old in 1944.
My mother came to collect me and there were no buses at all, so we walked all the way home from Jenny Lind on the Unthank Road in Norwich out to Surlingham, about five to six miles away. I can remember it hurt 鈥 when the nurse had removed the plaster cast that day she had cut my arm with the scissors and it was sore.鈥
