On board the HMS Kedah

We arrived September 5th 1945 in Keppel Harbour. We were the first ship to tie up in the harbour and I was one of the first to go ashore. It was the last large ship to leave, this was an honour since the ship carried Lord Wavell, Viceroy and Governor General of India from June 1943 to February 1947
