My name is Nellie Hall and whilst I was on night duty taking a signal to another Office I was stopped in my tracks by a black cat with a huge rat in it's mouth and this little WAAF ran all the way to the War Office. I was escorted back to the Airforce building by two soldiers and it took a long time to live that down!
