Harrison Comley Tommy handley Steve Hall Toulon Camp October 1945
A photo of some of the lads I met at a camp at Toulon in France in October 1945 whilst awaiting a ship to Palestine via Egypt. At the time things were not to good with the French people owing to the fact that when the French government capitulated most of their ships were in the port of Toulon so the R.A.F bombed and sunk them to stop them falling into German hands.
