Hello my name is margaret, i am 73 years old.I'm going to tell you a story about one of my many experiances in world war 2. During the war in Belfast we lived near harland and wolf ship yard. We were frequently bombed as we were quite close. On one occasion the sirens went and we were all chased under the stairs for safety by my mother, after the raid the all clear went and all was quiet. Suddenly we heard noises in our living room, my mother hushed us. My dad said to be carefull it could be a German who balied out from a crashed plane. My dad picked up a lemonade bottle and went to go out, and my mother shouted " dont hurt him he's somebodies son". As my father crept out he got a shock to find a goat under the table in the middle of the living room. Its shed had been desoryed during the bombing and had crept in the house for some shelter.
