I was carrying a casualty on a stretcher, going to the casualty clearing station (CCS), on going through a thick hedge, I came face to face with a German Tiger Tank. The turret hatch opened and the german officer inside poked his head out and said to me in perfect English, "If your looking for your CCS, It down there" while pointing with his finger. I said "Thankyou" he closed the hatch, the tank turned aroung, and drove off. I can't begin to tell you my reaction!
