My great grandad was a journalist for the Times. He was a man of some status, he was even invited to witness the queen's corontaion. He was also invited to report on the neuronburg trials.
For those of you who don't know, The Neuronburg Trials was an interesting occasion in World War Two. All of the Nazi leaders were round up and hanged. Only a very select few were allowed to be present at these and my great grandad felt very privileged to be allowed to go to these.
