My Uncle, Lieutenant John Alan Cole, 3rd Carabiniers (POW Dragoon Guards) R.A.C. was killed near Imphal on Thursday, 8th June 1944. He was aged 26.

Also, My Aunt, Dorothy Mary Cole, Sister, Q.A.I.M.N.S was killed on board H.M.H.S. Newfoundland, Monday, 13th September 1943. She was aged 29.

I will be posting their stories on these pages in the near future.
