I have been studying World War II for more than 30 years. My special areas of interest are Armoured Warfare and Armour in Normandy. I am currently writing my first book about the 8th and 22nd Armoured Brigades. The need to write a book was triggered by my interest in providing more clarity about the various battles in and close to Villers Bocage between the 13th - 15th June 1944 from the perspective of the men on the ground and underfire.

I served from 1975 - 1980 in the Kent and Sharpshooter Yeomanry (later known as the Kent & County of London Yeomanry) where I first became aware of the Villers Bocage engagements from reading "The Sharpshooters" by Boris Mollo. I have a fairly extensive library on Armour technology and WW2 from 1939 - 45 excluding the Pacific and Far East.

I live in Kent and I am employed as an Analyst Programmer building small business systems and I am soon to expand into web design and would be keen to assist the 麻豆官网首页入口 in this area to help test your designs if you require.
