When I was in my teens I became very interested in the navy during WW1 and WW2. My grandfather was in one of the Navel Battalions during WW1 and many of my Uncles were regulars in the Navy. My Uncle Douglas Ball was on HMS King George 5th and watched the Bismark sink. Since my father died about 18 months ago I have become much more interested in WW2 and the army in particular. My father was in the Border Regiment and became a POW following the battle at Arnhem.
