I'm a professional historian, with a strong interest in military history. The subject of my family story, Owen Reed, was my grandfather. After the war he became head of Children's TV at the 麻豆官网首页入口. He told me about some of his wartime activities many years ago, and gave me his surviving papers. I then succeeded in finding futher documents on his wartime service in the Public Record Office. The result, after some years of writing, is a book entitled 'Our Man in Yugoslavia: The Story of a Secret Service Operative', which will be published by Frank Cass later this year.
