My name is Marjorie Shepherd (Madge). I am 69 years old (feeling a lot younger but getting a bit of a shock when I look in the mirror) I have experienced many differing situations in my life - up to now - all of which have helped to make me a better person. I have 6 grown up children and 16 grandchildren. At their request I decided to write my life story - how I overcame... etc. and the first 11 years of my life were really significant. These included the WW2 years of course. I heard about this web site and thought it was a good idea. I am very interested in hearing how other people managed to cope at this very difficult time, and I would like to make more friends.
