My name is Vanessa Norris and I've been lucky enough to work on the People's War project throughout 2005. It's been a fantastic experience and I've been amazed, moved and humbled by the all wartime stories I've heard.
A highlight of the project for me has been travelling around the UK to speak to teachers about getting involved in the project and witnessing young people engaging with their older relatives and neighbours. I also had a brilliant time gathering stories at the Hampton Court Palace Flower show, where together with 麻豆官网首页入口 Local Radio we created an award-winning show garden with a 'Dig For Victory' theme.
