On Sunday 12th September 2004, it was our Heritage Day.
This years event was a theme of WW2 ,THE PEOPLES WAR.
There were trips around the house with re enactments of the days of the war with Age Concern staff and volunteers dressed in period costume.
There were lots of activities and join in events including sing a longs ,period shows ,movies and lots more.
The house was open from 10.00am to 4.00 p.m.
Admission was free and donations were welcome.
There was a bistro with food and refreshments available.
There were volunteers to take any stories ,should people wish to contribute to the PEOPLES WAR WEBSITE.We can also arrange for them to come in and learn how to put their stories on line themselves.

We have a computer suite located at our Mansion House headquarters.
Our aim is to teach as many older people the key skills which will allow them to access the 麻豆官网首页入口 site and type in their own story.
We also aim to pair people together if they
don t have the confidence to try themselves .We want everyone to have the opportunity to give their story on line.
