Learn pronunciation through music

In order to get accustomed to intonation and pronunciation, I've found a pleasant way of learning: listening to music all the time. The car, shower and kitchen become places of study. When you listen to songs in a foreign language, you easily recognise sounds and words ... you begin to sing and learn the words and pronunciation.

I think listening to music helps me learn Japanese a lot easier than sitting there doing nothing. I've been listening to Japanese music for over three years, although I still can't understand a lot of Japanese, I know how to prounounce their romaji words correctly. Such as cities, names, and others.

I am learning German and I have a few German songs on my mp3. It does help.
I also have songs in Japanese and Romanian and I have picked up new words just listening to the songs and seeing the lyrics translated.

I agree, songs can help as it gets you used to a lot of different accents and helps with the pronunciation.
