Make the most of your DVD collection!
Most DVDs these days - especially popular series which are distributed worldwide such as Friends or ER - have an option to watch with foreign subtitles, even if the soundtrack is in English. Sometimes you can even watch British or American shows dubbed into French or Italian, with French or Italian subtitles too! It's a great way to feel less guilty about watching too much trashy TV! I've been re-watching Series 5 of ER - complete with Czech subtitles - and then impressing my Czech partner with all my new hospital vocab.

Hello! i teach english and i often use dvd in the learning process. i prepare some exercises and my students watch a movie and at the same time learn english. the result is great! I advise everyone to make lessons more interesting and creative!
