Nice bum!
Whilst working as an English assistant in the Pyrenees, I was buying some bread in the local bakery and ended the transaction with Merci beaucoup - "Thanks a lot". Or at least, I thought that's what I said until my German friend explained I'd actually pronounced it as Merci, beau cul - "Thanks, nice bum"! That would explain the odd look from the large lady who'd served me.
