Kinder disappointment
Whilst on my German exchange we went to a sweet shop. My German pen friend picked up a Kinder Surprise and asked me if we had them in England. I nodded and said Natürlich! Das ist eine Kinder Enttäuschung. I couldn't understand why my pen friend and all of her friends burst into laughter until it was explained to me that I should have said Kinder Überraschung for Kinder Surprise ... Kinder Enttäuschung means Kinder Disappointment!
