Naked visit
Many years ago, my favourite great-aunt was courted by an Italian who was learning German. In his eagerness to see her again he asked: Kommen Sie heute nackt in den Garten. Meaning: Come today naked into the garden. What he meant to say was: Kommen Sie heute Nacht in den Garten. Which means: come tonight into the garden.
It's now many years ago that I heard this story, but I remember the hilarity it unleashed.
Poor fellow, she never married him.
